School sports have a lasting impact on students, teaching them to collaborate, compete, and lead. No child should be excluded.

Participation in school sports has life-long benefits:

- higher graduation rates
- better test performance
- higher grades
- higher likelihood for college enrollment

Fees, equipment, and travel costs leave too many low-income kids on the sidelines.

We’ve partnered with 3 schools where academics are accelerated, but sports need support—with your help their students can join their very own dream team.

-The Mississippi RiverKings were a professional minor league hockey team. On July 2, 2007, after 15 seasons as the Memphis RiverKings, the team's name was changed to Mississippi RiverKings.

-The Memphis Rogues were a professional soccer team in the former North American Soccer League. They operated in the 1978, 1979, and 1980 seasons and played their home games in Memphis' Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. They also played indoor soccer at the Mid-South Coliseum during the 1979-'80 season.

-The Memphis Showboats were an American Football franchise in the United States Football League. Perhaps the most prominent players on the Showboats' roster during their two seasons of existence were future Pro Football Hall of Fame member Reggie White and future professional wrestler The Total Package Lex Luger.
